a collaborative grant between the five Alaska Native-Serving Institutions
(ANSI) and the Cooperative Extension
Service of the College of Rural and Community Development to provide
place appropriate careers and higher education preparation for Alaska
Native
students.
The proposed
project builds on prior
USDA ANSI grants and aims to develop academic programs
of interest to Alaska Natives and rural Alaskans in the USDA identified
food and agricultural sciences.
campuses
will develop four new 30-credit certificate programs which will articulate
into a new, proposed Associate of Science degree.
